Adhiparasakthi Engineering College was established in the year 1984 with the blessings of founder president His Holiness Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar in order to meet the growing demands for engineers in the modern industries. This institution is governed by the Vice-president Thirumathi Lakshmi Bangaru Adigalar and the correspondent Thiru G.B.Senthil Kumar. This institution is one of the prestigious educational institutions functioning under the Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust.
The institution is affiliated to Anna University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. On the first decade of its growth the college has been a pioneer in bringing out Spirituality-binded powerful engineers aptly referred as Sakthi Engineers.

From the day of inception of Adhiparasakthi Engineering College has been growing from strength to strength. The engineering College campus is spread over a wide area accomodating spacious buildings to house workshops laboratories hostels and other infrastructural facilities. The college has a sound infrastructure at par with any of the leading technical institutions. A team of high qualified experienced and dedicated staff aid the students in the pursuit of technological excellence and perfection. A strong theoretical base and practical exposure through in-plant training and industrial visits prepare the students to meet any challenge in the field.
Participation in technical activities like paper presentation, seminars and workshops at home and outside update the student's knowledge and know-how in the latest development of their field.
The college has started with three undergraduate courses in the year 1984 followed by two more courses in1993 and a Chemical Technology course in the year 1997. Two postgraduate courses, Master of Business Administration was started in the year 1995 and Master of Computer Applications was started in the year 1998.
The college has chalked out a perspective plan being guided by eminent engineers from institutions of higher learning and industrialists, so as to develop and strengthen the academic activities of the college and to keep in tune with the demands of the rapidly changing industries. Extraordinary day-to-day care is being taken by the staff to mould the building engineers with academic excellence and practical exposure. The effort of the staff has been reflected by the ranks and the distinctions achieved by the students in the University Examinations. A glimpse at the figures given in the facing page emphasizes the level of achievement of the students.
